Now today I see an article meant for public consumption about the importance of getting tested for HIV in order to help stop the spread of this life-threatening infection. (As if that alone will do the trick.)
Nothing about the fact that this epidemic is behavior-driven. Just a tacit mention that most new cases will be among men who have sex with men.
Testing is one thing;I'm not knocking it. But, AIDS won't be contained without change in behavior. The burgeoning ex-gay population is proof that same-sex attraction can be diminished in many who are disaffected by their homosexuality.
Therefore, The Doctors ought to recognize and address the fact that change is possible - and every homosexual has the right to know this.

No need to thank me. I'm always glad to help.
